It was 5 in the evening under the cloudy sky of Oct 1st, cool breeze and green grass well this seems to be a park kind of a thing. you are right the release of beta version of e-Swecha was done in the lawns of JNTUH Kukatpally. It was unusual for a software to be released in such an environment. All the developers of the Debian based e-Swecha distro were exited to see there creation coming to life and into the hands of needed. Students of various colleges have performed plays that showed free software in the form of a play it was nice and interesting to see students participating in cultural activities. there was music sung by students whistles being blown to show the appreciation towards the participants. But for all this to happen we have been working hard for almost a year on listing out the software adding, deleting, building and doing lot of work. It seems very easy to add all the software to a Live CD/DVD but e-Swecha is not an OS which has software added to it randomly. every software was discussed and been debated on whether to be included or not. The future of e-Swecha is towards building a stable version of the OS and keeping in mind the very needs of all the students who want that last bit of software in the OS.
